How to Measure Your Child's Foot Length
Prepare Your Tools
Gather a sheet of paper, a pencil, and a ruler. Have your child stand on the paper while wearing socks.
Trace the Foot
With your child standing, trace around the foot, marking the longest point and the widest part. Ensure the pencil is held perpendicular to the paper.
Measure the Length
Use the ruler to measure from the heel to the tip of the longest toe (usually the big toe or second toe).
Select the Size
Refer to the size chart to choose the appropriate shoe size based on the measured foot length. We recommend allowing 0.5-1cm of growing room.
Try Them On
It's best to measure in the afternoon when feet are slightly swollen. During fitting, ensure your child stands and walks to check for adequate toe wiggle room.
Growth Stage Explanation
- Stage 0: Early Walking (10-12cm) - For babies taking first steps
- Stage 1: Toddler (10.5-13cm) - Developing walking skills
- Stage 2: Steady Walking (11.5-14.5cm) - Confident walkers
- Stage 3: Running & Jumping (14-20.5cm) - Active play
- Stage 4: Athletic (19.5-24.5cm) - Sports activities
Note: Stages overlap to accommodate transition periods between growth phases.
