I bought these mesh shoes for my little one, as it allows her feet to breathe during the summer, but doesn't leave her toes open, which provides needed protection. The padding is sufficient and provides ample support. These shoes also dry easily if they get wet and are extremely lightweight. The sizing is also spot on and are very easy to put on and take off. Overall, these shoes are very functional and a must have for the summer.

The TARANIS Boys Girls Sandals in White/Apricot (Size 9 Toddler) strike a really nice balance between airy summer sandals and supportive sneakers. Taranis seems to make really solid shoes. The build quality is always great. The soul is very flexible. I like that the toe box is wide. They are easy to get on and off and to adjust with the little velcro strap. I just can't get over this hat wearing bear. Even if it was just a bear I think I would like it better. Why the weird hat? But of course I knew that when I ordered these so I can't really hold that against them. Still the style is probably the only thing I would complain about and it's not bad, just not my preference. Overall they're cute and high quality little baby shoes. I can't know how comfortable they are to wear, but when you press on the sole it has lots of padding and seems like it'd be comfortable.

This is our third pair of Taranis. This is well engineered, and well built. The material is high quality. The finish is great: no glue showing anywhere. The stitching is clean. The heel counter is stiff, providing ample support. The mesh upper part makes it very breathable. The cutouts also add to its breathability. This is the perfect summer shoes. The outsole is soft and grippy. It's easy to flex. The wide toe box gives the toddler's feet the freedom to stretch. The big front bumper protects the toes. The hook & loop fastener is lined with Velcro end-to-end on the underside, removing any worries about aligning for maximum grip with the landing Velcro strips. The fastener goes through the loop on the tongue, securing it in place.
The insole is about 1/4 inch thick. It provides good support. Our toddler seems to enjoy wearing it. The shoes provide good grip on all surface of the playgrounds we frequent.

Great aesthetics, and great quality shoes. I do think the price is a bit high though.
